There are policies that allow you to work in another industry or job, even if you cannot work in your normal occupation. Those are owner-occupation policies, own-occupation policies, and in those circumstances for example, if you wan to run a business, you can do that. If you were working as a physician on your feet all day, and you can’t do that anymore, you can still earn income in a different occupation depending upon the language of the policy.
